Education Minister, Nurul Islam went to a meeting at Secretariat for determining HSC 2016-2017 academic season. He operate the meeting. After complete the meeting, Chairman Dhaka Board education board, Professor Taslima Begum mentioned that for HSC academic season 2016-2017 concerned candidates must apply by SMS with Teletalk mobile connection. However, they can also use in typical system. Within this meeting, Education Secretary Mohammad Sadik and also Director of Secondary and Higher Secondary education board, Professor Fahima Khatun also present. 

This season HSC Admission process is going to be totally online process. Bangladesh Education Ministry take this decision to get rid of irregularities in HSC admission process. Online HSC Admission Process will probably be began right after publishing SSC exam result 2016.

HSC Admission Online application begin: 26 May, 2016.
HSC Admission application submission last date: 9th June, 2016.
College admission get started from: 18th June 2016.

Academic activities will begin from 10th July, 2016. Students will have the ability to provide selection list no more than 10 colleges, wherever in previous year that was 5 colleges. HSC Admission Result 2016 will be release within the same day.

This current year HSC Admission Circular 2016-2017 academic season admission application form fee will probably be decided to BDT. 150 and 120 via SMS. In accordance with admission regulations and polices, if any students wish to cancel admission and admit a different college along with delayed fee, in that case he/she can apply in connected college with their gurdian’s agreement. In such cases that student will receive 50% money back.

Along with 10 education board and also under the Open University academic season 2014-2016, all SSC and equivalent exam passed students can go to HSC Admission in 2016-2017. 80% seats will be accessible for all students in 7 divisional area’s colleges . 10% seats is going to be booked for affiliated colleges. These colleges will admit any student as they need. Another 10% will be divided up 3 quotas.

In merit list for Science group General Math, Higher Math & Biology will be considered. In merit list for Arts & Business Studies group Bangle, English & General Math will be considered.

Those colleges have 300 seats are available for students they start online admission. But those colleges have 500 seats are available for students they have to continue admission process by online.
